Well, today kicked off like any other day. I mean, who would've predicted that a simple trip to grab the mail would transform my personal disaster zone? I was just finishing up my morning coffee when I realized I bolted myself out with the keys still inside. Inside! You can't imagine the frustration that washed me like a tidal wave.
I tried every maneuver I knew of, from forcing the lock to wrenching it open. Nothing worked!
The sun was getting hotter, and my phone charge was slowly dying. To top it all off, I was starting to feel silly as neighbors started to watch.
Eventually, after what felt like an eternity, a kind neighbor pointed out calling a locksmith. Let me tell you, that dial tone was the most pricey one I've ever taken. The locksmith showed up and easily got my door open.
Lesson learned? Maybe. But mostly, all I feel is relief.
